The present loadshedding is merely going on in large scale due to mismanagement of energy shortfall or due to so call maintenance purposes which has almost broken the backbone of Pakistan industrial sector. Workers have been rendered jobless due to industrial shutdown in the city. The quality of products and other material have also been reduced considerably. The situation is very much grimed and complex. It is feared that workers may launch their protest and close the Lahore-Sheikhupura-Faisalabad Road and cause law and order situation in the city.

Under these circumstances, industrialists are unable to take any decision to retain or remove the workers in their factories or bear unnecessary fixed charges of electricity, Sui gas and other Government Levis in connection with EOBI and Social Security charges etc.

The attitude of LESCO / WAPDA is adding more woes to the citizens as duration of load shedding for 9-11 hours daily will ruin the whole industrial activities in Sheikhupura and on other hand Government is torturing the people by enhancing the electricity tariff too. It is tantamount to sheer injustice that instead of controlling the line losses and the theft of electricity, the concerned electricity supply companies are busy in worsen the situation. You are requested to arrange a meeting to discuss and find the solution of the above mentioned problems regarding the shutdown of electricity supply.
