SUI Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) has expressed inability in restoring gas supplies of CNG to filling stations and industrial sector as per earlier announced schedule.

CNG and industry in Zone-1 will open on 12th of April (Friday) instead of 11th of April (Thursday) for three days, said a spokesman for SNGPL here Wednesday. He added that due to sabotage activities, Pirkoh pipeline was ruptured twice during the week, reducing flow of gas. As per revised schedule, CNG filling stations in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Multan, Gujranawala and Gujrat regions will be open from April 12 (6:00am) to April 15 (6:00am). Similarly, industry in Lahore, Sahiwal and Sheikhupura regions will get gas supply from April 12 (6:00am) to April 15 (6:00am).
