We are writing to introduce that Sheikhupura Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), Sheikhupura Association of Industry (SAI) and Anjuman-e-Tajran Sheikhupura with the collaboration of District Government Sheikhupura have made a program to arrange a “Sheikhupura Industrial and Consumer’s Exhibition” in Sheikhupura to attract the citizens of Punjab towards the quality products and material produced in all the important Districts of Punjab including Sheikhupura. Probably the exhibition will start in May 2012 at helipad ground Sheikhupura. Initially one hundred industrial stalls will be allocated to the interest parties to display their quality products and material produced in Sheikhupura and in the neighboring Districts of Sheikhupura. However other Districts of Punjab will be encouraged to participate in this exhibition for creating harmony, concordance and promotion of their sales among the citizens of Punjab.
No doubt, Sheikhupura is one of the most important industrial city of Pakistan, if it is said that Sheikhupura is 2nd largest Industrial city after Karachi and contributing billions of rupees in Shape of different taxes to the National Exchequer. It is proper time to introduce the District Sheikhupura in whole of the Pakistan as Industrial city as well rich in tourism, culture and heritage because a famous historical site “Hiran Minar”, “Tomb of Peer Waris Shah” and many other important sites are also located in this District.
