Dubai Golf and the Australian Business Council, Dubai, have announced the launch of the inaugural Ambassadors Cup an 'Inter-Business Council' team golf event to be played over two rounds. This event is being held in collaboration with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and wasl Asset Management Group who is the title sponsor to the event.

Official Business Councils operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber have been invited to participate in The Ambassadors Cup by entering a team of 14 players including either the Ambassador or Consul General of each participating country. The number of teams will be limited in the inaugural event to eight which will also include a local UAE team sponsored by the Chamber. The best 10 scores of each team's 14 players will count to their team's score at each round and the team with the best aggregate team stableford score over the two rounds will be named the champion.
