ISLAMABAD: In a joint declaration all the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the country have rejected the taxation measures announced by the government including the imposition of flood tax and RGST.

The business community has termed law and order as the most serious threat faced by the businesses in the country that has not only restricted the growth of the economy but discouraged foreign and local investments.

The declaration was made at the end of 3rd All Pakistan Chambers Presidents’ Conference, held in Bhurbon, Tuesday, where leaders of the business community expressed dissatisfaction over the taxation measures and said that the government is trying to extracting money form the same source only and no efforts are being made to broaden the tax base.
