President Unisame Zulfikar Thaver said the has had series of meetings with energy prominent solution companies namely Reon, Orient Energy, Nizam Energy and Adaptive Technologies and has set up an energy solution and facilitation centre with the support of Small Medium Industrial Leasing Estates (SMILE) an SME facilitation company. 

Thaver said it is very necessary that the SME units resort to solar energy as it is expected that the electric supply companies will not be able to meet the demands of the sector for uninterrupted supplies and the outages will cause loss of production and the units would not be able to achieve productivity.
