Keeping in mind the hassle of getting the new currency notes especially on the national festivals like Eid, the State Bank of Pakistan has come up with a new strategy to facilitate people.  Now, instead of standing in long queues outside the banks or giving extra money to get the fresh currency notes, people will be able to get the work done by means of a short SMS code 8877.

The SMS service has been launched in collaboration of Pakistan Bank Association (PBA) and it will be functional from July 8,  2015 that is, 20th Ramzan ul Mubarak. Read more
