Dear Sir /Madam,

We would like to draw your kind attention towards the miserable condition of internally displaced people in North Waziristan. As you know the militant activities had caused loss to National property throughout the country and claimed the lives of the innocent citizen of Pakistan. Government has tried her level best to solve this problem through negotiation process but the militant did not bother to listen to the Government and ultimately Government started present military operation known as Zarb-e-Azab, which is a positive decision of the Federal Government to wipeout militants in North Waziristan. 

 

During the operation Zarb-e-Azab approximately 44000 families containing 5, 72,529 persons have been migrated to the different areas of Pakistan as per information of print and electronic media. The flood of people is in dire need of immediate food and shelter. It is our National, moral and religious obligations to extend every possible assistance in shape of money, food, clothes and other necessary items to these Internally Displaced People (IDP) during the Holy month of Ramadan.

 

We therefore, request you to extend your full cooperation towards these people as Army, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Minister of Punjab and District Administration Sheikhupura (DCO) and Environment Department of Sheikhupura had requested to help the people with open hearts, so that, they could overcome their miseries in the shortest possible time. Please send your donations, clothes, all kind of food items, water and juices to District Co-ordination Officer Sheikhupura. You can also send cheque / drafts in the Chief Minister Relief Fund, Account no. CD 0047310002 Bank of Punjab Civil Secretariat Branch, Branch Code 0008 through DCO Office Sheikhupura. It is proper time to help the poor people of North Waziristan, so that your material and financial help could reach to the needy people during Ramadan and before Eid-ul-Fitar. Your cooperation in this regard will highly be appreciated.
