We have been informed by the Executive Director, World Chambers Federation, International Chamber of Commerce that the World Chambers Federation lent its support to the initiative tabled by the China Chamber of International Commerce, to establish collaboration and cooperation between chambers along the famous Silk Road.
 1. Silk Road International Expo
To be held 23-26 May 2014, and then annually, the expo shall be held in the city which was the starting point of the ancient Silk Road - Xi'an City, located in China’s Shaanxi Province. The Qujiang International Convention and Exhibition Center 10,000m2 of exhibition space is available for companies from sectors including machinery equipment and manufacturing, energy and building material equipment, industrial products and technologies, agricultural technology and service, consumption goods and food. More than 100 000 Chinese buyers are expected to visit the Expo. Booth spaces are available from 3 to 36m2 USD150 per m2.
 2. Silk Road Expo Park
Silk Road Expo Park is the world's first commercial-themed Silk Road international trade expo park, covering an area of about 200 hectares, containing national pavilions of countries along the Silk Road. Enterprises from more than 40 countries are invited to display and trade their products in this long-term showcase and matchmaking service system. The main construction of Silk Road Expo Park will be completed in October, 2015.
CCOIC is offering tenants recommended by WCF chamber members, no rental fee period for the the first 2 years, discounted to 50% the following 3 years.
3. E-Silk Road Platform
As a complementary service to the Silk Road Expo Park, China Chamber of International Commerce plans to launch an online cross-border electronic business platform of E-Silk Road. Based on the extensive domestic and international commercial network resources of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China Chamber of International Commerce, the platform will bring together Chinese and international trade and investment information, and integrate information dissemination, product display, business consultation, online exhibitions, business meetings, virtual communities and other services. The trial version website is expected to be completed in October, 2014.
