It has been observed that tax officers are not full filling their responsibilities especially delay in adjudication has created numerous difficulties for the business community of the country. The Sheikhupura Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) is a registered organization and doing its best for the welfare of the business community of Sheikhupura.

We would like to invite your kind attention to the very important issue which is related to the adjudication. The adjudication officers and Income Tax Commissioner (appeals) are not deciding the cases of tax payers within the stipulated period of law. Due to delay the tax payers are mentally disturbed and always be at the mercy of Tax Officers.

It is therefore requested that your kind office may take Suo Motu Notice under FTO Ordinance 2000 on this very important issue. It is further requested that complete data of pending adjudication before first adjudicating officer and before Commissioner (appeal) be summoned and the FBR may be directed to decide the cases of tax payers within stipulated period of law. Your early action would be a blessing for all the tax payers in the country.
