ISLAMABAD (August 24 2010): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) would convene a meeting at the KSE on Thursday, August 26, to discuss the draft rules on applicability of capital gain tax (CGT) on stock exchanges. Sources told Business Recorder here on Monday that FBR Member Direct Tax Policy Israr Rauf is likely to meet a KSE delegation to discuss the proposed rules on the CGT in consultation with the KSE to clarify all issues relating to the CGT.
